Ethiopia Partnership: From Embassy Talks to Pilot Mills
On May 24, 2024, Starlight joined a bilateral meeting at the Ethiopian Embassy in Beijing to advance agricultural-machinery cooperation. Both sides aligned on a four-pillar plan—technical training, pilot installations, local service & parts, and standards & data—and committed to move from dialogue to an actionable roadmap.
The program sets a 12–18 month timeline with KPIs that matter to owners and lenders (unplanned stops, start-success rate, impurity %, energy per ton), and deploys toolkits tailored to Ethiopian conditions: power-quality & soft-start, “dirty paddy” pre-cleaning, and genset matching. Next steps: select 1–2 pilot mills and stand up local service with stocked spares and response SLAs.

Intake & Dehusking
Start with clean, uniform paddy to protect every machine downstream. Our intake solutions remove straw, sand, stones, and light/heavy impurities while stabilizing feed to the husker.
Adjustable airflow, precise sieving, and controlled stratification keep losses low and throughput steady across moisture and variety changes. Dehusking applies gentle, consistent pressure to separate husk efficiently, and paddy–brown separation maintains purity for whitening.

Whitening & Polishing
Specify the finish you need—export white or local-market sheen—and we configure emery and iron rollers accordingly. Balanced feed, stable negative pressure, and uniform abrasion deliver bright color with fewer broken kernels and lower kWh per ton.
Water-mist or vertical-friction polishing refines surface texture without over-processing, improving appearance and storability. Quick-change screens and wear parts simplify maintenance, while smart controls hold product temperature and whiteness steady through the shift.
